    A Diagram Documents a Decision It Cannot Hold

    Architecture diagrams and process maps describe choices that were already made somewhere else, in a meeting or a doc nobody can find. Decision Canvas creates the decision record from the canvas itself and keeps the canvas as provenance.

    The Picture Drifts From the Estate

    Every diagram starts accurate and ends fiction. Bind a node to a project, a KPI, a model run, or a canonical dataset and it reads the live value. Import a live AWS account and start from what actually exists.

    No Approved State, So Everything Reads as Truth

    A shared diagram and a scratch diagram look identical to a reader, and identical to an agent. Ours moves Draft to In Review to Official to Archived, and only Official is referenceable by AI, failing closed on anything unknown.

    Integrations Deliver an Image

    The structural limit of a standalone diagramming tool is that it can publish a link or a picture into another system. The content arrives inert. Our canvas writes into the ledger, and a board's approval state governs what the AI is allowed to read back out of it.

    Governance Is a Separate Product

    Retention, legal hold, data classification, and immutable audit are not diagramming features, so they end up bolted on somewhere else, or nowhere. Boards here inherit those platform controls by default.

    Nothing Records Whether It Worked

    A diagram has no outcome. A decision does. Every record created from the canvas carries an owner, an approval, linked evidence, and a recorded outcome you can review later.
