Scenarios

Scenarios are the core unit of analysis in DecisionLedger AI. Each scenario captures a complete model run — inputs, outputs, KPIs, and AI evaluation — so you can compare alternatives and track decision rationale over time.

    Scenario Lifecycle

    Create

Select a model, fill in inputs (manually, via spreadsheet upload, or from connected integrations), and run the analysis. The platform validates inputs, executes the model, and generates structured outputs.

    Version & Iterate

Modify inputs and re-run to create new scenario versions. Each version is preserved independently so you can track how assumptions evolved. Clone any scenario as a starting point for new analysis.

    Compare

Place two or more scenarios side-by-side to compare KPIs, risk scores, and recommendations. Comparison views highlight deltas and surface trade-offs between alternatives.

    Share & Collaborate

Generate shareable links for stakeholder review (no login required for read-only access). Attach scenarios to decisions for governance tracking. Export to PDF or CSV.

    Scenario Features

    Full Audit Trail

Every scenario records who created it, when, which model version ran, and the complete input/output payload. Nothing is overwritten or lost.

    AI Evaluation

Each scenario is automatically evaluated by an AI grader that scores methodology, data quality, completeness, and actionability on an A–F scale.

    Decision Linking

Attach scenarios to formal decisions so the governance framework tracks which analysis informed each organizational choice.

    Export & API Access

Download scenario results as PDF reports or CSV data. Access all scenario data programmatically through the REST API.

    Scenario Comparison

The comparison view lets you evaluate multiple scenarios across key dimensions:

    • KPI Deltas — See how each metric changes between scenarios with absolute and percentage differences
    • Input Differences — Highlight which assumptions changed to understand what drove different outcomes
    • Risk Comparison — Compare risk scores and flags side-by-side to evaluate trade-offs
    • AI Summary — An AI-generated narrative explains the key differences and recommends which scenario best fits your objectives
